From frustration
to foundation
Heading was born in late 2024, when our founders — both search professionals with over a decade of experience — found themselves asking the same question: “Why is there no single tool that shows how we appear in AI search?”
Traditional rank trackers hadn't adapted. AI visibility was a blind spot. So we started building. What began as an internal tool quickly grew. Early users valued the unified approach — seeing AI citations alongside traditional rankings, backlink health, and site performance in one place.
Today, Heading serves hundreds of teams across the UK and beyond. We're still a small, focused team — and we ship every week.
